2010: Designing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Migration Strategy

This two-day course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to select and design a strategy to migrate from a Microsoft® Windows® NT Server 4.0 directory services infrastructure to a Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory™ directory service infrastructure by describing the planning processes and implications involved.
Prerequisites

 

  • Successful completion of course 1561, Designing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services Infrastructure
    or
  • Successful completion of the following:
    • Course 2154, Implementing and Administering Windows 2000 Directory Services
    • Course 1556, Administering Microsoft Windows 2000
    • Course 1557, Installing and Configuring Microsoft Windows 2000
    • Course 1558, Advanced Administration for Microsoft Windows 2000
    and
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory planning and design
  • Experience evaluating forest and site designs for the purposes of upgrading
