2154: Implementing and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Directory Services

This five-day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, configure, and administer Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Active Directory™ directory services. The course also focuses on implementing Group Policy and understanding the Group Policy tasks required to centrally manage users and computers.
Prerequisites
  • Course 2152, Supporting Windows 2000 Professional and Server, or equivalent knowledge and skills. This includes installing Windows 2000, using Windows 2000 administration tools, configuring hard disks and partitions, creating and administering printers, and controlling access to file resources by using NTFS and shared folders.
  • Course 2153, Implementing a Network Infrastructure using Microsoft Windows 2000, or equivalent knowledge and skills. This includes installing and configuring TCP/IP, DNS, and Certificate services.
